72 Hour Short Film Challenge
Arizona's first-ever 3 day short film event kicks off October 10-13.   
Why make a film in 48 hours when you can have one extra day to  
procrastinate!  October 13th is a holiday so this will be the  
challenge to enter and really prove to yourselves and your teams that  
you can produce an award-winning 1-7 minute film and make the  
celebrated Top 20 screening!  Also, if you register in July, the entry  
fee is just $30 per team, and this includes a free t-shirt!  We  
promise the lowest entry fees in the state and the best-run festival

A3F Mixer/Pool Party on July 12
Take a break from the heat and come say hello to new filmmakers,  
actors, actresses and crew members or even old friends at what will be  
the most talked about Mixer of Summer 2008!  Party takes place from  
7p.m. to 9p.m. at the Clarendon Hotel -- if you haven't seen this  
place in person, you need to attend this event!  Pool-side bar, free  
chips and salsa and gourmet food.  Bring your suit as well, it's a
