Thank you to everyone who attended the Almost Famous Film Festival 48  
Hour Challenge last night.  A new record was set as 457 movie- 
enthusiasts watched the Top 20 films from this year's challenge.  Wow,  
what a spectacular night with the sold-out crowd, media attention from  
FOX 10, great sponsors, entertaining films and an awards ceremony and  
after party that surely will be remembered!

This ends a long season of film festival events for the A3F.  In  
October we hosted a 24 Hour Challenge and All-Stars events, our  
inaugural International Short Film Festival in February and the 4th  
Annual 48 Hour Challenge this past week.  Over 2000 people attended  
these events with more than 180 filmmakers and their cast/crew from  
across Arizona and beyond.  A huge thanks to everyone for supporting  
the independent film community and the talented filmmakers who make  
this all possible!

The A3F is taking a much needed breather for the summer months, but we  
will be back with more exciting events and opportunities in the Fall  
of 2008 -- so stay tuned and get ready to become Almost Famous!
