The 2008 Almost Famous Film Festival 48 Hour Short Film Challenge Top  
20 will be posted on the A3F web site at 7 p.m. this evening,  
Saturday, February 23.  The results will be listed here http://www.thea3f.net/48hour.php 
.

Tickets for the Top 20 Screening on Thursday, Feb. 28 are now on  
sale.  This showing has sold-out every year so it is advised that you  
purchase your tickets beforehand.  You may do so at http://www.thea3f.net/48hour.php 
  by using your credit/debit card or paypal.

Tickets will be at Will Call under the name you enter.  Will Call will  
open at 6p.m. on Thursday with the screening beginning at 7:30p.m.   
Will Call will be located in the breezeway behind the AMC Ticket  
Counter at the Arizona Center (565 North 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004).

Remember, each team receives 2 complimentary tickets to the Top 20  
regardless if your film was selected.  The tickets you ORDER are in  
ADDITION to these 2 free ones.  Non-Top 20 teams, please email jae at thea3f.net 
  to request your 2 complimentary tickets.

There will not be an Honorable Mentions screening this year due to  
lack of interest from an email query sent out this past week.  I  
realize it's disappointing to spend so much time on your films and not  
be able to see them in a public setting -- but hefty theatre rental  
costs come into play and sadly there was just not enough support for  
an HM screening.

Thank you again to all of the filmmakers who entered this year's  
challenge and took on the enormous task of creating a 1-7 minute film  
in just 2 days or 48 hours!  That is an achievement in itself and one  
you should all be proud of!
