Only 8 hours to go!

I am getting quite a few questions on the challenge and screening so  
here are some quick answers for everyone to read over:

• Films must be between 1 and 7 minutes long including opening/closing  
credits.  That does not mean your film can be 7:03:(
• Films must be turned in by 7:00p.m. at Majerle's in downtown Phoenix  
or electronically for those out-of-town filmmakers!
• Data-DVD's are preferred with an uncompressed QT or AVI or FCP  
project.  Burned DVD's are okay as are mini-dv tapes.  If you shoot in  
HD/HDV, please use a data-dvd.
• Each team receives 2 free tickets to the Top 20 Screening on the  
28th.  The Top 20 Films will be revealed (in no particular order) this  
coming Friday/Saturday.
• DO NOT POST your films on your web site, myspace, youtube, facebook,  
or any other public domain until the festival is over.

We usually host an Honorable Mentions Screening so teams that do not  
make the Top 20 can still see their films on the Big Screen.  However  
in past years, this screening has been somewhat poorly attended as I  
think people are disappointed that they didn't make the main screening  
which is understandable.

In my opinion, it's still a great opportunity to invite your friends  
and family to watch your 48 hour masterpiece!  Please email your  
opinion for whether you would attend a HM screening if you film was  
not in the Top 20?  "Yes" or "No" would be great!

And finally tickets are on sale for the Top 20 screening on the 28th  
at www.thea3f.net.  This screening sells out every year!  You probably  
should wait and see if your film is in the Top 20 before purchasing  
too many tickets unless you want to attend anyways!!!!!!!!!
