ASU FILM DEPARTMENT AUDITIONS

The ASU Film Program is having its' Spring 2008 Auditions for Student  
FiIms

Saturday, February 16, 2008 | 9am to 4pm | ASU Film Production Studio

If you haven't taken part in the ASU student films, it is a tremendous  
way to help build up your reel and credits for film. SAG
actors are eligible, as the students do SAG contracts for performers.

There is no pay for these films, but you do receive copy, credit and a  
great experience for everyone involved. Due to insurance
issues, all actors must be OVER 18.

If you have auditioned for ASU before, you do need to audition again  
to show your interest in the program and to let a new
group of writer-directors see your talented performances.

Please email CHRIS LAMONT, ASU Faculty at clamont at asu.edu with your  
headshot and resume if you would like an audition
time. This is not an Open Audition. Audition times are reserved on a  
first-come basis. Monologues are provided.

We hope you will come out and support ASU's students and give yourself  
an opportunity to make some movies!

ALMOST FAMOUS INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

February 13th - February 14th | 5-10pm

26 Independent films will be screened, including the World Premier of  
Sympathetic Details, a film by Benjamin Busch from
HBO's critically acclaimed series "The Wire." Benjamin will be  
attending the festival and hosting a Q&A after the screening.

In addition to Sympathetic Details, Code 7, which is based on the real- 
life experiences of the film's director as an EMT in New
Orleans will be screened. And the international film For a Few Marbles  
More will take the audience back to to everyone's
childhood dream of chasing bullies from the playground.

Tickets: $6 - individual film | $15/$25 - festival passes.

IFP Phoenix's FOUR SEASONS SHORT FILM CHALLENGE is a year-long  
competition with winning filmmakers taking home cash, prizes and  
bragging rights!

Specialty awards will be given after the films screen, the Top 5 films  
that will advance to the spring finals will be announced, and the  
first place film will receive $300!
