Touching upon the themes of love and a chance encounter, Bonnie choose LA's up- and-coming artist, ZIV and his song "Under." "My friends and I have always recorded ourselves doing funny things, but last year we wanted to make a movie about one of the books we had just read in language arts class and I said I had a camera and editing system so that is where it really started," explained Bonnie on her budding passion for filmmaking." Bonnie's father, William, saw the article on the Music Video Challenge in the Arizona Republic and encouraged his daughter to enter. "I went to check out the website and got excited about the challenge," said the high school sophomore, "especially with it being a local event that could lead to much greater publicity and even to the big screen!" "This is what the A3F is all about," explained Jae Staats, Founder and Director of the A3F. "Giving opportunities to filmmakers, whether they are 15 or 50 or amateurs or professionals, is the goal of the A3F. We want to make them Almost Famous through our challenges and events. Registration Deadline is tomorrow, Friday, August 15. Almost Famous Film Festival www.thea3f.net -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
