A quick update...

Thank you to everyone for your emails and positive feedback regarding  
the new A3F web site!  I am glad that the launch is finally over and  
the site is in place, we have seen a big upswing in traffic this past  
week which I hope will continue through our October events!

Speaking of events, the 24 Hour Challenge already has two teams  
signed up within the first week of registration!  And the current  
poll on the home page has 60 percent of you thinking about entering  
this one day event -- should be lots of fun and some stiff competition!

The All•Stars Challenge has 8 out of the 10 teams set to compete.   
The overall top 5 teams from past A3F's are all in place so this is  
already turning into an event to remember.  Once the final two teams  
have registered, the fun will begin!

And finally, please remember that the A3F has launched their own  
Short Film Festival for February 2008.  This is not a challenge or  
timed event, but a true festival in every sense of the word!   
Filmmakers may submit their 1-60 minute short films in the genres of  
Horror, Documentary, Animation, Comedy/Drama and Foreign.

So please pass the word on to your friends, family members and any  
channels to get the word out!  We will have a special submission  
price for A3F filmmakers coming soon...
