[ballboy-announce] A3F Update / Final Workshop

The final A3F Workshop takes place Saturday, February 3 from noon-3  
p.m. in the Willo Room at Phoenix College.  Kim Adelman, a Hollywood  
Producer and presenter at last year's workshop and Dr. Martin  
Etchart, published author and instructor at Phoenix College, will  
lead a discussion on scriptwriting for short films and how to  
maintain a winning structure for your next project (A3F for some of  
you!).

• The first-half of the workshop will include watching several award- 
winning short films, some produced by Kim, and discussing these  
movies.  There will also be a group assignment dealing with  
constructing a short film.

• The second-half of the workshop will be a continuation of the this  
past Saturday's lecture and assignments.  So for those of you who did  
not attend on the 20th, you are welcome to leave at this point.

I would highly recommend attending on the 3rd of February as the  
opportunity to learn from industry experts such as Kim and Marty does  
not present itself very often!  Please RSVP to jae at ballboy.net with  
how many in your group you expect to attend?

There are 37 teams registered so far for A3F 2007.  You can still  
sign up for this year's exciting 48 hour challenge by visiting the  
web site at http://www.theA3F.net.  Online registration will be open  
until the 16th of February or you can sign up at the kickoff party at  
Majerle's.
