[ballboy-announce] Time for a new Camera?

I would like to know if anyone on this list is at a point where they  
are looking to purchase a new video camera?  If yes, what camera is  
on the top of your list?  I am guessing that the popular choices  
today are the HDV cams and possibly the P2 from Panasonic.

I just looked at the Canon XH-A1 today and was pretty impressed.  I  
have shot with the XL1 and XL2 the past 10 years and would love to  
get the new XH H1 but the $8999 is pretty steep compared to the A1's  
price of $3500 or even lower.  Anyway, I might be able to work a  
sponsorship deal with a local company who is a Canon rep so I would  
like to know if there is anyone out there who is interested in the  
Canon lineup; HV10, HV20, A1, G1 and H1.

Or if you like the cameras from Sony and Panasonic or JVC (or RED),  
let me know which models you are interested in?
