This is the final announcement for the Almost Famous Film Festival  
Workshop this Saturday, December 9.

Workshop Two - Casting the Indie Film
Instructor: Faith Hibbs-Clark, C.S.A.
Learn how to attract major stars for your independent film from  
Arizona’s top casting director, Faith Hibbs-Clark.  Faith will cover  
topics such as, “The Myths of Casting,” “The Do’s and Don’t  
of Casting,” and “Attracting Stars to your Projects.”  Check

Following Faith will be a demonstration of the new Panasonic P2 HD  
camcorder and then a roundtable discussion with A3F filmmakers.  Feel  
free to bring along resumes and portfolios as this is an excellent  
way to promote yourself to fellow filmmakers and network!  Soft  
drinks and water will be provided but please feel free to bring along  
treats or a sack lunch if you are one to get hungry!

Please RSVP to jae at ballboy.net with how many in your group will be  
attending?  It's free and open to the public so you can also just  
show up at 10 a.m.

The location is Phoenix College (1202 West Thomas Ave, 85013) in the  
building located on Flower Street and 11th Avenue.  Best to park in  
the northeast parking lot located at 11th and Flower and then walk  
diagonally across the street to the building on the corner (same as  
last year's scriptwriting workshop).  There will be signs and I am  
attaching a map in this email.

And the new 2007 A3F T-Shirts have just arrived!  So if you have  
already registered for this year's challenge or do so at the  
workshop, you will be able to pick up your shirt (one per team) and  
be the first in town to own one!  Shirts are available for $10 each  
if you want to be generous and purchase them for the rest of your  
team members:)

You can also sign-up for the 2007 A3F 48 Hour Short Film Challenge at  
the workshop!  If you do, you will be able to select a digital video  
filmmaking book from O'Reilly Media for free!
