We are thinking of holding a unique (read fun) mixer, networker and  
film night this summer.  Just wondering what the interest for this is  
amongst all of you and whether June 20 or July 11 is a better date?   
Will be a great way to catch up on everyone's activities and projects.

Celebrate Screen Actors Guild 75th Anniversary

with a BBQ in the Tradition of the Old West at Old Tucson Studios



You?ve heard the big news by now: Screen Actors Guild turns 75 this  
year and branches all over the Country are celebrating in June.  
Branches are celebrating in styles unique to their branch and members,  
from champagne brunches to afternoon mixers to black-tie galas. In  
honoring the film industry here in Arizona, our celebration will be  
held at Old Tucson Studios on Friday, June 20 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

When you enter the Studio, you?ll be greeted by characters at front  
gate and be directed to the Town Square. On the way to the Town  
Square, you may want to use one of your drink tickets to enjoy a  
refreshing Margarita or stop at the Old Tucson Movie Museum where a  
historian will answer your questions about the Studio and the films  
shot there. As you walk down Main Street, you?ll be visually reminded  
of all those movies that were shot at Old Tucson by the movie posters  
posted down Main Street. Enjoy live music, have your photo taken in  
the Old Tyme Photo Shop, shop in the Corner Store, mingle and enjoy  
drinks from 6 p.m. - 6:45 p.m..

A BBQ dinner follows the social time complete with Brisket, Chicken  
and the fixings. Following dinner, a program with a video presentation  
celebrating SAG's legacy, Proclamations and special honors will mark  
this historic evening. The night will be capped off by more mingling,  
drinks and dancing.
